Job Description

Rubin and Rudman LLP, a prominent mid-size law firm based in Boston, is seeking a senior level associate to join our Trusts and Estates practice. As one of the largest and most renowned trusts and estates practices in Massachusetts, this group is a cornerstone of our firm's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive drafting of core and complex estate planning and financial documents providing for clients' asset protection, business succession planning, and minimizing income tax, gift tax, and estate tax consequences.
  • Working directly with one of our seasoned trusts and estates partners to facilitate and manage an existing high-volume practice.
  • Managing a diverse client base including multi-generational family enterprises, privately held businesses, law and accounting firms, medical practices, financial service providers, supply-chain purchasing and distribution entities, and non-profit organizations.

Requirements:

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school, membership in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar.
  • LL.M. in Taxation is a bonus but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in estate planning, trusts and estates administration, and estate and gift tax planning.
  • Highly skilled and efficient in drafting and reviewing estate planning and financial documents.
  • Self-motivated and personable; able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and manage matters independently and proactively.
  • Prior experience at a regional or national law firm or a well-regarded local firm.
