POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Oversees the complete recruitment process, from job advertisement to candidate acceptance.
  • Ensures a robust talent pool for available roles, including temporary staff, contractors, and interns.
  • Collaborates with hiring leaders to clarify job specifications and ideal candidate profiles.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Responds to inquiries within a timely manner.
  • Ensures adherence to all legal standards and organizational policies.
  • Conducts regular supervision sessions with team members, documented in personnel files.
  • Aims for zero turnover and vacancies in the recruitment department through engagement and motivational strategies.
  • Brings innovative ideas to team meetings and supervision sessions.
  • Participates in regular recruitment meetings to address challenges and gather input from staff.
  • Responsible for hiring all new positions as outlined in the recruitment plan.
  • Utilizes design tools to create visually appealing recruitment materials.
  • Maintains detailed records of personnel contacts and hiring statuses.

Leadership and Strategy

  • Exemplifies outstanding leadership through effective communication, support, and management.
  • Develops and executes recruitment strategies to fulfill the organization's staffing requirements.
  • Maintains and updates the recruitment landing page to attract candidates.
  • Manages applicant tracking systems to ensure compliance and identify potential candidates.
  • Contributes to monthly meetings to address recruitment needs.
  • Assists in preparing monthly reports for senior management.
  • Recommends budgetary needs and recruitment strategies based on data analysis.
  • Oversees the recruitment budget.
  • Distributes vacancy reports to senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Engages with new hires during orientation, particularly those recruited by the team.
  • Conducts training sessions for supervisors on recruitment systems and non-bias screening.
  • Ensures accountability among team members for meeting defined objectives.
  • Trains HR staff on the effective use of electronic documentation systems.
  • Suggests policy enhancements to align with legal standards.
  • Assists supervisors in crafting job descriptions and realistic previews for candidates.
  • Strives to attain professional HR certification within the specified timeframe.

Management of Non-Traditional Personnel

  • Recruits temporary staff as necessary, focusing on specialized roles.
  • Handles contract negotiations and annual updates for external contractors.
  • Secures favorable terms with staffing agencies, demonstrating cost efficiency.
  • Identifies effective agency partners and maintains updated records.
  • Educates supervisors on contract compliance through formal communication.
  • Ensures timely removal of non-utilized agency staff from records.

Internship Management

  • Maintains comprehensive records of student placements and hiring statuses.
  • Tracks conversion rates of student interns to full-time employees.
  • Ensures accuracy in job advertisements, particularly regarding compensation.
  • Conducts informal interviews and participates in the matching process.
  • Organizes quarterly events to gather feedback from student interns.
  • Responsible for converting a percentage of social work students into staff annually.
  • Coordinates visits to local colleges to promote employment opportunities.
  • Builds strong relationships with educational institutions to facilitate recruitment.
  • Develops supervisors to accept student placements, aiming for increased placements year over year.
  • Manages compliance documentation for non-traditional personnel.

COMPENSATION:

  • Starting salary is competitive and based on relevant experience and education.
  • Standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, in-person.

QUALIFICATIONS - Talent Acquisition HR Coordinator

Education:

  • A Master's degree in business, health administration, social work, human resources, or a related field is required; a degree in human resources is preferred.

Experience / Knowledge:

  • HR certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in human resources roles is required.
  • Experience in training and recruitment is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Proficient reading and communication skills.
  • Ability to type and compose professional correspondence effectively.
  • Capable of prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Ability to transport materials for events as needed.
