Position: Talent Acquisition & Development Coordinator

Location: Knoxville, TN (This position does not offer remote work options)

Role Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Talent Acquisition & Development Coordinator to enhance our team. This role encompasses the entire recruitment process and the coordination of professional development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management to identify staffing requirements and formulate effective recruitment strategies
  • Utilize diverse sourcing methods to attract candidates
  • Conduct preliminary screenings of candidates
  • Oversee the interview process, ensuring clear communication with candidates and hiring teams
  • Perform thorough reference checks and background investigations
  • Negotiate employment terms with chosen candidates
  • Facilitate orientation and onboarding sessions for new employees
  • Maintain ongoing communication with new hires and their supervisors to ensure alignment with expectations
  • Organize and manage Career Development programs and meetings

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in recruitment, ideally within the construction industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems
  • Familiarity with social media recruitment strategies and sourcing passive candidates
