About This Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Talent Management: Ensure timely and effective staffing of all positions, including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting CMC's Guiding Principles and values.
  • HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR transactions, including new hire processing, employee data changes, and benefits administration.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee implementation of CMC programs to ensure compliance with various governmental regulations, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, and other related Federal and State laws.
  • Investigations and Employee Relations: Assist with investigations and formulate responses to government, legal, or internally reported employee relations charges.
  • Compensation and Performance Management: Participate in compensation planning, performance assessment, and employee development planning.
  • Benefits and Employee Education: Understand and educate employees regarding CMC's benefits, including support of the annual enrollment process.
  • Policy Implementation and Communication: Ensure consistent CMC policy implementation and communicate general issues and concerns to the HR Manager.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in human resources, including a combination of recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training, compensation, or labor relations.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, Workers Compensation, DOL, E-Verify, and other related Federal and State laws.
  • Skills: Strong client-facing skills with a consultative mindset and ability to effectively problem-solve.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
