About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Organizational Development Business Partner to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our Employee and Organizational Development department, you will play a critical role in fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce across the University of Tennessee System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and analyze talent needs across the organization, collaborating with key stakeholders at all levels to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive learning programs, including in-person and eLearning courses, to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Partner with management and employees to promote positive employee relations, enhance work relationships, and foster career development.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage key learning events and programs, such as annual conferences and seminars.
  • Consult with campuses, institutes, and departments to develop and deliver customized learning and development solutions, strategic planning services, and organizational development interventions.
  • Conduct needs analyses, map plans to meet the identified needs of assigned business partner units, and establish check-ins to evaluate progress and effectiveness.
  • Partner with HR Data Analytics and others to form and publish dashboards, using HR data to identify trends, track performance, and inform business decisions.
  • Support talent acquisition needs, including assessing, communicating, and addressing talent gaps, and partnering with talent management to assist with new employee onboarding.
  • Serve as a conduit between campus partners and System HR subject-matter experts to support a wide variety of HR needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, adult learning, organizational psychology, business, leadership, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in developing and facilitating adult learning events in productivity-based workplaces and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including effective writing and course development.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and webinar delivery facilitation tools.
  • Ability to travel across the state as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in human resources, adult learning, organizational psychology, or a related field of study.
  • Professional certifications, such as PHR, SPHR, CPLP, CPT, StrengthsFinder, MBTI, DISC, or EQ.
  • Experience applying learning evaluation methods, organizational development, and/or performance coaching.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and how to summarize and apply them to training applications.
