About the Role

Elastic is a leading provider of cloud-based search and analytics solutions, empowering organizations to unlock the full potential of their data. We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Account Executive to join our team and drive growth in the mid-market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex sales cycles, presenting to C-level executives and demonstrating the value and ROI of Elastic's solutions
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to fuel ongoing business growth, exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Share the value of Elastic's portfolio across search, observability, and security offerings, including on-prem, cloud, hybrid, and generative AI solutions
  • Accelerate and grow net new business in a set of approximately 20-30 accounts
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts through creative prospecting, inbound lead flow, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales
  • Accurately forecast profitable and predictable territory performance, requiring adherence to our sales process
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of field sales experience in the software industry
  • A track record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions, with a focus on growing and managing current customers and new use cases
  • Ability to align technology solutions with sophisticated, multi-stakeholder business problems and utilize strategic thinking skills to solve customer challenges
  • Strong ability to demonstrate value proposition and return on investment in complex environments, communicating effectively with technical and executive audiences
  • Consistent over-achievement of quotas, revenue goals, and ability to effectively identify and sell to C-level executives
  • Passion for building long-lasting customer relationships and working cross-functionally within a diverse team to deliver outstanding results
  • Technological aptitude and business acumen, with exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary and variable component, comprising On-Target Earnings (OTE)
  • OTE range: $157,300 - $210,000 USD
