Position Overview: We are in search of a driven, highly motivated, and experienced self-starter with a proven sales record to join our dynamic sales team as a Mid-Market Account Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities for our core business applications and services tailored for the mid-market sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a self-sourced pipeline of qualified sales opportunities within the mid-market sector.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for clients, providing insights on key market trends and challenges.
  • Guide a consultative sales process from qualification to conversion, utilizing a revenue framework to understand customer pain points, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive consensus on solutions.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations and product demonstrations to various departments including Operations, Finance, HR, Payroll, and IT, showcasing Deputy as a unique solution provider.
  • Negotiate favorable deal terms to secure new business while ensuring long-term success for clients.
  • Utilize revenue frameworks such as MEDDPICC to communicate pipeline forecasts effectively.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prospect statuses using tools like Salesforce and Gong.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to define strategies that maximize value for prospects and clients.
  • Represent Deputy with integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a closing role within B2B SaaS or Workforce Management Technology.
  • Experience selling software solutions in complex environments with multiple decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with revenue frameworks such as MEDDPICC, SPICED, or Challenger.
  • Proven ability to build and manage a qualified sales pipeline.
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in territory planning and execution is advantageous.
  • Prior experience mentoring a Business Development Representative is a plus.
  • Experience selling to franchise brands or co-selling with integrated software partners is a bonus.
