Role Summary: The Yardi Specialist will be proficient in managing Yardi Software, demonstrating strong database management capabilities, and possessing knowledge of SQL. This role involves overseeing helpdesk operations to ensure our team receives timely and effective support. The Yardi Specialist will be instrumental in maintaining the Yardi system, managing data, and providing exceptional helpdesk assistance to resolve user issues and optimize system utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the Yardi helpdesk operations, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of user inquiries related to Yardi and other systems.
  • Monitor helpdesk performance metrics, identify trends, and implement enhancements to improve user support.
  • Provide ongoing assistance and guidance to ensure users can effectively utilize the Yardi system and address any challenges they encounter.
  • Support Yardi system upgrades and implementations.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development to create helpdesk documentation, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement enhancements to Yardi functionality.
  • Conduct regular audits and maintenance of the Yardi system.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Yardi system and helpdesk operations.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Experience and Education: 1-3 years of experience working directly with Yardi software, preferably in property management (multifamily or single-family) within the real estate sector; strong technical support skills; experience with SQL, SQL queries, coding, and scripting.

Technical Skills: 5+ years of prior experience working with Yardi property management software in the multifamily sector. Exceptional knowledge of Yardi Voyager, including modules such as Residential Management, Accounting, and RentCafé.

Communication Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Analytical Skills: Familiarity with accounting and finance principles is preferred; excellent problem-solving skills are necessary.
