Position Overview:

The Operations Administration Specialist collaborates with various departments to facilitate activities that lead to the effective implementation of programs that are straightforward and executable. This role is crucial in ensuring the proper execution of operational procedures in the field and involves completing tasks that support the overarching Operations strategy. The Operations Administration Specialist will also routinely analyze and interpret data while working alongside different departments.
  • Support & Execution of Field Operations
    • Generate standardized reports for regional distribution in collaboration with the Supervisor of Regional Administrative Assistants and the Operations Administration Manager.
    • Execute queries to identify incorrect or missing ticket pricing and other discrepancies related to scheduled film showtimes.
    • Coordinate with the Film Department to monitor films with Special Pricing and their respective updates.
    • Ensure accurate pricing is communicated to locations as necessary.
    • Collaborate with the Finance team on demand pricing initiatives.
    • Maintain a spreadsheet for theatre Petty Cash amounts and generate reports to identify variances.
    • Assist the Operations Administration Manager with Field Operations Guidelines and recommend necessary updates.
    • Engage in meetings with Subject Matter Experts to revise Guidelines as required.
    • Provide monthly updates on the Field Execution Dashboard and ensure timely collection of required information from Subject Matter Experts.
    • Continuously assess and enhance the Field Execution Dashboard to ensure Operations tracks trends for critical business tasks.
    • Oversee the operational execution of annual fundraising initiatives for Variety, The Children's Charity.
    • Act as a resource for routine theatre operations inquiries and critical policies and procedures.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and provide feedback on execution techniques and processes for both the Service Center and the field.
    • Support new programs adopted by theatres, including preparing communications and generating results reports.
    • Collaborate with IT/TOP business partners to identify and define needs for Point-of-Sale systems in theatres, ensuring proper testing and execution before and after rollout.
    • Serve as the primary contact for Box Office admission and pricing.
    • Manage Cinemark Server updates for theatre-specific information.
    • Perform additional project and compliance tracking tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of management experience in a theatre or theatre support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with large datasets using SQL, Excel, and PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with basic project management techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to foster positive partnerships across various organizational levels.
  • Experience in documenting procedures, creating job aids, and developing training content is preferred.
  • Experience leading meetings.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Early adopter of new processes, tools, and systems with the ability to train others.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adhere to processes and standards while identifying opportunities for creative innovations.
  • Positive energy and enthusiasm.
  • Able to travel occasionally.
