Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through the use of a computerized inventory system, ensuring that all stock levels are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Warehouse Operations: Assist in tracking and management of equipment, load and unload specific customer equipment on delivery trucks, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Material Handling: Utilize material handling equipment such as forklifts to efficiently move stock and materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Assist in preparing and submitting reports on inventory levels, shipments, and other warehouse-related activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all customer requests are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma plus 6-12 months of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Must possess a valid driver's license and a CDL is preferred. DOT medical card is also preferred but not required.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing. Must be in good physical condition with the ability to lift 100 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Technical Skills
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Excel and email usage.
  • Material Handling Equipment: Ability to successfully complete forklift training and demonstrate the ability to operate the equipment.
Soft Skills
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions.
