We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Specialist to join our team at Children's Health. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our plant equipment, including chillers, boilers, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain plant equipment, including chillers, boilers, and HVAC systems, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Lead and direct others in troubleshooting and resolving complex system problems.
  • Repair and maintenance of complex piping systems, including steam piping and chilled water piping.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems and fire/smoke damper repairs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of related experience in multiple areas, including boiler operation and maintenance, chiller/chilled water operation and maintenance, HVAC systems, or pipe fitting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • HVAC Technician Certification and Universal EPA License preferred.
  • Stationary Engineer License, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade preferred.
