Position Title: Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Operations

Location: Melville, NY

Compensation: $180,000-$250,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize innovative thinking to collaborate with a skilled team of manufacturing and engineering experts to assess, modify, and enhance operational methodologies and tooling.
  • Supervise the assessment and advancement of manufacturing techniques, leveraging expertise in product design, fabrication, assembly, equipment, tooling, and materials to steer technological direction.
  • Enhance production efficiency by evaluating and strategizing workflow, spatial requirements, and equipment configuration.
  • Provide counsel and direction to the operations team on pioneering approaches for new products, workflows, and operational necessities.
  • Accountable for a broad spectrum of decision-making responsibilities while evaluating new design configurations for cost savings, optimal workflow, and operational efficiency.
  • Support a team of top-tier Engineers and Designers with critical insights in advanced production methodologies.
  • Deliver manufacturing decision-making insights by analyzing projected production labor and material costs; oversee production timelines and future requirements estimation.
  • Manage and endorse significant cost analysis, equipment suggestions, and make-or-buy evaluations.
  • Generate positive organizational impacts by employing analytical skills to scrutinize in-process documentation for discrepancies, thereby enhancing efficiency and output.
  • Supervise the creation of essential assembly guides, operational manuals, and illustrations for manufacturing processes, utilizing CAD and CAM software applications effectively.
  • Enhance personal skills while collaborating with engineering professionals.
  • Facilitate and lead brainstorming sessions and interdepartmental meetings to boost productivity and reduce expenses.
  • Foster a constructive work atmosphere through professional and respectful interactions with supervisors, colleagues, clients, and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques in testing, assembly, and fabrication for electronic hardware.
  • Experience with RF & microwave frequency products, subassemblies, modules, and printed circuit boards.
  • Hands-on experience in wire bonding and chip and wire processes.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom environments.
  • Proficient problem solver with expertise in root cause analysis and project management.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CostPoint is a plus.
