Job Summary: The City of Bowie is seeking a skilled Laborer, Senior to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for performing heavy manual labor, operating various landscaping equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform heavy manual labor, including but not limited to, lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects
  • Operate various landscaping equipment, such as chain saws, mowers, and weed eaters
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Able to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to perform heavy manual labor and understand specific instructions
  • Experience operating various landscaping equipment
  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Valid Class B CDL
  • Experience operating various landscaping equipment
