Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the cleaning of the entire facility, with a focus on common areas and apartment bathrooms.
  • Complete maintenance request reports as needed.
  • Report any deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to the housekeeping supervisor.
  • Operate the laundry equipment as required.
  • Report inadequate quantities of cleaning supplies to the housekeeping supervisor.
  • Use only approved cleaning products and ensure proper storage of all cleaning supplies.
  • Clean office areas as assigned.
  • Dust and clean all window blinds in the community.
  • Dust all furniture, bookshelves, etc. in resident apartments and common areas.
  • Vacuum common areas and resident apartments.
  • Keep common area and resident bathrooms clean.
  • Clean apartments at resident move-out.
  • Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
  • Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Housekeeping experience highly desired.
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time.
  • Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
  • Polite and courteous to all residents, visitors, co-workers, and management team.
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push, and pull for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
