Position Overview

ASHLIN Management Group, Inc. is on the lookout for a highly skilled individual with extensive expertise in project coordination and management methodologies. This role involves comprehensive oversight of all operational services, ensuring effective project planning, timeline creation, and execution of deliverables. The successful candidate will monitor team activities and resource allocation to meet budgetary, scheduling, and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a diverse team of over 20 professionals in support of government initiatives.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance to guarantee adherence to project deliverables and budget constraints.
  • Develop detailed work breakdown structures with actionable items and timelines.
  • Manage project finances to prevent budget overruns.
  • Provide strategic insights and facilitate project delivery and management.
  • Collaborate with clients to set priorities for the engagement team and ensure successful execution of client deliverables.
  • Utilize data analytics and insights to address challenges with the engagement team.
  • Maintain close communication with client leadership to provide timely updates on progress and status.
  • Ensure the engagement team meets all deliverables as directed by the client.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve specific business objectives as defined by the client.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Regularly report project status to ASHLIN leadership.
  • Explore and identify new business opportunities through existing client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Must be located in the Maryland area and able to work part-time in Frederick, MD.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role, overseeing larger teams (more than 20 full-time equivalents).
  • PMP Certification from PMI is required.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills are essential.
  • Experience managing Army government contracts in areas such as administrative support, program evaluation, data analysis, and business intelligence (minimum of 5 years). Candidates should have experience in at least 3 of these areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Project Management Office (PMO) government contracts, particularly with the U.S. Army Medical Research & Development Command (USAMRDC) and/or Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).
  • Background in projects involving data collection, analysis, and evaluation.
  • Experience leading program evaluation teams.
  • Proven ability in business development and leveraging professional relationships.
