Entity Overview:

Lloyds Securities Inc. (LSI), a registered broker-dealer with the SEC and a member of FINRA, serves as the U.S. securities division of LBCM plc UK. LSI's operations encompass Debt Capital Markets, Bond Syndicate, Private Placements, and Credit Sales & Trading. As part of Lloyds Banking Group, LSI provides commercial banking and risk management services to large domestic and multinational corporations operating in the U.S. and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the origination, structuring, and execution of fixed income securities underwritten and/or distributed by the capital markets team.
  2. Manage daily tasks including coordinating the underwriting process, reviewing transaction documentation, and processing trade tickets.
  3. Assist senior team members by delivering regular indicative pricing and market updates to clients and DCM/SPG originators.
  4. Collaborate with DCM & SPG colleagues to ensure the effective publication of client pricing and structuring initiatives.
  5. Lead internal and external discussions on market trends, methodologies for structuring, and pricing dynamics.
  6. Initiate and implement changes to systems, processes, and practices that drive operational enhancements and support the development of new product initiatives.
  7. Provide market insights to assist senior management in monitoring market conditions and trends.
  8. Coordinate daily with U.K. and European Bond Syndicate teams and broader Bond Financing groups.
  9. Ensure all transactions comply with industry regulations, applicable laws, and Lloyds policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in capital markets, preferably with significant exposure to an active DCM or Syndicate desk.
  • Prior experience in originating, structuring, and implementing fixed income securities.
  • Strong quantitative skills in bond mathematics and fixed income security pricing methodologies.
  • Proficient in client engagement and responsive to client inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Effective communication skills across various levels and audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and a collaborative mindset.
  • Self-motivated and capable of performing efficiently in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a team-oriented setting.

Required Education and Licenses:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of software applications including MS Office, Bloomberg, and other relevant technology tools.
  • Valid FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 registrations.

Location:

Employees in this role are expected to work in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

Salary Range: $165,000 - $215,000
