Entity Overview: The Ladders operates as a leading broker-dealer, providing a range of financial services to large domestic and multinational enterprises. Our business segments include Debt Capital Markets, Bond Syndicate, Private Placements, and Trading Services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the origination, structuring, and execution of fixed income securities underwritten and/or distributed by the capital markets team.
  • Manage daily tasks including coordinating the underwriting process, reviewing transaction documentation, and processing trade tickets.
  • Support senior members by providing regular indicative pricing and market updates to clients and capital markets originators.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effective publication of client pricing and structuring initiatives.
  • Lead internal and external discussions on market trends, methodologies for structuring, and pricing strategies.
  • Initiate and implement changes to systems and processes that enhance operational efficiency and support new product development.
  • Provide market insights to assist senior management in monitoring market conditions and trends.
  • Coordinate with international Bond Syndicate teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, applicable laws, and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • At least 3 years of experience in capital markets, preferably with significant exposure to a DCM or Syndicate desk.
  • Proven experience in originating, structuring, and implementing fixed income securities.
  • Strong quantitative skills in bond mathematics and fixed income pricing methodologies.
  • Highly proficient in client engagement and responding to inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills across various levels and audiences.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team setting.
Required Education and Licenses

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of software applications including MS Office, Bloomberg, and other relevant tools.
  • Valid FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 registrations.

Location:

This role is expected to operate in accordance with the company's hybrid working model.

Salary range:
$165,000 - $215,000
