ABOUT THE OPERATIONS TEAM

The Operations team at BerlinRosen consists of over 30 specialists focused on finance, talent management, human resources, IT, legal affairs, and overall operational efficiency. This team plays a crucial role in supporting the firm’s rapid growth by identifying operational improvements and developing sustainable systems and infrastructure.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Vice President of Operations to spearhead internal initiatives, mentor junior and mid-level staff, and proactively enhance processes throughout the organization. This individual will collaborate with a diverse range of personnel, from senior leadership to administrative support. This position is ideal for someone who excels in high-pressure situations and enjoys tackling complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.

ROLE LOCATION: This position is based in our New York office with a hybrid work model requiring in-office attendance at least three days per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

As a Senior Vice President on the Operations team, you will:
  • Conduct research on tools and policies, providing recommendations that yield long-term benefits for our workforce.
  • Design and implement effective change management strategies to facilitate firm-wide changes and policy implementations.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to ensure successful communication and execution of firm-wide initiatives at the team level.
  • Address urgent requests from leadership and establish systems to prevent future urgent issues.
  • Work collaboratively with Leadership, Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments to drive projects to completion within deadlines.
  • Identify areas for improvement and eliminate inefficiencies, particularly those affecting financial performance.
  • Plan, develop, and oversee new firm-wide systems and processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships, software solutions, and procurement processes.
  • Coordinate firm-wide events and meetings.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
  • 5-7+ years of experience managing operations in a mid to large organization is preferred.
  • A strong desire to learn and solve problems creatively.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and monitor progress across multiple teams.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a strong ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient multitasking abilities, capable of managing several projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong writing, editing, and research skills, with a talent for presenting information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion.
  • Enthusiasm for building and scaling a growing organization.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Experience in public relations.
  • Background in a firm or agency setting.
  • Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions.
WORKING AT BERLINROSEN

COMPENSATION PHILOSOPHY: BerlinRosen offers competitive salary bands aimed at retaining and developing talented individuals. We regularly review our compensation structure to ensure equity across teams and levels.

SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with experience and skills, ranging from $130,000 to $170,000.

Senior Vice Presidents are eligible for year-end bonuses based on individual, team, and firm performance.
