About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of People to join our team at Airbyte. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our company's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a holistic people strategy that supports the company's growth and success
  • Lead the Talent team to identify and attract top talent
  • Develop and execute learning and development programs to support employee growth and performance
  • Oversee the development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits packages
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion practices throughout the organization
  • Lead and mentor members of the People Ops and Recruiting teams
Requirements
  • 8+ years of people/HR experience, including talent management and talent acquisition/recruiting
  • 4+ years of startup experience
  • Previously owned the People strategy at a hyper-growth SaaS company
  • Proven track record in leading both People Ops and Recruiting functions at a startup with 200+ employees in a hybrid globally distributed remote culture
  • Deep knowledge of best practices in core talent/HR domains: DEI, learning and development, performance management, talent acquisition, and remote culture
  • Ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization
  • Superior interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
