Position Summary:
Vuori is seeking a finance leader with a focus on channel management to oversee financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting across all commercial channels, including eCommerce, Retail, Wholesale, and International. This role will lead the financial performance management and forecasting processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, providing insights and best practices to strengthen the finance and channel collaboration. As a rapidly growing organization, Vuori offers the opportunity to develop and refine processes for scalability. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, detail-oriented team player with extensive experience in large retail or direct-to-consumer businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Forecasting:
    Oversee the creation of annual budgets, sales forecasts, and rolling forecasts that account for seasonality, market trends, and strategic goals for each channel.
  • Collaborate with channel stakeholders to align commercial trends with forecasts, ensuring a consensus on achievable targets.
  • Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and e-commerce teams to synchronize financial plans with overall business strategies and sales objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance and inventory levels to optimize revenue and profit margins.

Financial Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to assess customer profitability, promotional strategies, and customer lifetime value. Perform variance and trend analyses to evaluate the impact of business decisions on financial outcomes and identify cost optimization opportunities.

Reporting and Communication:
Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights. Clearly communicate financial results and recommendations to foster informed decision-making.

Team Leadership and Process Enhancement:
Establish a consistent operational framework between finance and channel leaders to enhance accountability for key performance indicators. Continuously improve financial planning and analysis processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy. Develop a high-performing team by providing mentorship and professional growth opportunities, fostering a culture of excellence.

Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with over 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the retail or apparel sector. Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis tools are essential. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.
