Job Title: Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant at Chelsea Investment Corporation, your primary focus will be on the precise verification and maintenance of financial records, along with the timely review and processing of essential accounts payable and receivable tasks.

Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing loan disbursements and liaising with stakeholders
  • Adjusting and reallocating budgetary allocations
  • Maintaining financial documentation for real estate pre-development expenses
  • Recording settlement statements for property transactions
  • Tracking and documenting loan interest, permits, fees, and deposits
  • Assisting with cost certification and tax credit documentation
  • Coordinating, gathering, and recording financial data
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, along with a minimum of five years of experience in financial reporting, ideally within the construction or related sectors such as real estate, taxation, banking, finance, or public administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is essential, as is experience with loan disbursements. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the necessary knowledge and skills will also be considered.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics PG, Sage 300 CRE/Timberline, Procore, and/or Textura
