Job Title: HR Specialist and Financial Administrator

Job Overview:

We are in search of a motivated professional to become part of our team as an HR Specialist and Financial Administrator. This multifaceted position entails managing both human resources and financial operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles and human resources management, showcasing adaptability, professionalism, and a proactive mindset in addressing responsibilities across these essential domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Duties:
  • Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, including talent sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure adherence to HR regulations.
  • Coordinate performance evaluations and support initiatives for employee development.
  • Address employee relations issues and mediate conflicts as necessary.
  • Assist in the rollout and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate HR-related training sessions for staff and management.
Financial Duties:
  • Support the Controller in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Conduct monthly financial analyses and provide insights to management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Assist with annual audits and tax submissions.
  • Manage sales and use tax accounts across various jurisdictions.
  • Perform financial reconciliations and variance analyses.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
General Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to achieve company goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
  • Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and HR best practices.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and support company culture initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting and/or human resources roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
