The Red Gate Group is actively seeking a committed Financial Systems Specialist to provide essential support for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the development of program schedules and business case documentation.
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation and training resources.
- Facilitate the migration and validation of data to upgraded systems.
- Engage in operations and maintenance discussions for NGA's Core Financial Systems.
- Establish Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) testing procedures for system improvements.
- Address and resolve challenges related to system interoperability and policy compliance.
- Contribute to requirement assessments, design evaluations, and program management discussions.
- Support security certification and accreditation processes.
- Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in a relevant role.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline.
- 4 years of overall experience in evaluating federal financial business processes, developing Momentum-based system solutions, and/or managing all aspects of programming, planning, budgeting, execution, and accounting.
Applicants should have demonstrated experience in the following areas (total of 2 years):
- 1 year of experience conducting analyses in Momentum Financials, including complex technical parameters and procurement principles.
- 1 year of experience with Momentum software lifecycle management, encompassing requirements definition, process mapping, and system testing.
- Up to 1 year of experience with current system and data architecture, as well as data engineering.
- Experience implementing Momentum financial systems in a federal context from both a systems and functional viewpoint.
- Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and management directives.
- Familiarity with Adobe Captivate.
- Experience in schedule, cost risk, and benefits analysis.
- Experience addressing FISCAM audit findings and conducting SSAE 18 reviews.
