Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Regional Strategist to join our team, focusing on the Indo-Pacific region. This role involves supporting Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement with partner nations in the region. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of DoD policies and experience in supporting executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior-level guidance on complex national defense issues within the Indo-Pacific context.
  • Oversee and coordinate cooperative activities with regional allies and partners.
  • Develop and implement bilateral and multilateral strategic priorities.
  • Draft and manage official correspondence and security cooperation documentation.
  • Facilitate coordination of regional activities across various departments.
  • Track and manage engagements with Indo-Pacific nations of interest.
  • Review and coordinate technology competition initiatives.
  • Handle administrative tasks and consolidate information related to engagements.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will exhibit strategic thinking, tactical execution, and strong analytical skills. They should be adept at building cross-functional relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational capabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • TOP SECRET clearance.
  • 5+ years of experience in regional security or international security cooperation.
  • 5+ years supporting legislative and programmatic guidelines for U.S. Government security efforts.
  • 5+ years managing complex programs.
  • Experience in drafting professional documents, including reports and briefings.
  • 5+ years coordinating interagency and international events.
  • 5+ years in the public sector, preferably within the DoD or DoS.
  • 5+ years in DoD policy formulation and implementation.
  • 5+ years in executive program management support.
  • Experience navigating the senior DoD landscape and coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Experience working with foreign dignitaries.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to security protocols.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • 5+ years in the public sector, with experience supporting INDOPACOM.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
