About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Policy Strategist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Cybersecurity Policy Strategist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic cyber policies to support our defense infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the assessment of client cyber policies, coverage, and areas of risk
  • Evaluate and audit policies against regulations, best practices, and industry standards
  • Develop and advance strategic cyber roadmaps to ensure secure operations in an evolving IT environment
  • Work in a consultative role to ensure clients operate securely and effectively
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in professional services, the Federal government, or Federal consulting
  • 6+ years of experience in the cybersecurity or information assurance field and providing an operational understanding of the cybersecurity program within the DoD
  • 4+ years of experience supporting DoD-level cybersecurity service provider (CSSP) teams
  • 4+ years of experience writing or drafting executive or formal senior-level correspondence or material to support decision-making and strategy development
  • 2+ years of experience drafting technical writing at the organization-level, including technical policies and strategies
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience facilitating meetings such as working groups and conferences, and associated pre- and post-meeting activities
  • Knowledge of NIST 800 series publications
  • Knowledge of Joint instructions and manuals
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • CISSP or CISM Certification
