Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize fabrication processes that align with functional specifications, including:
  • Stacking, brazing, welding, machining, assembly, and testing.
  • Create detailed documentation that translates functional requirements into specifications for suppliers.
  • Provide input for tooling requirements and define tooling specifications to facilitate the production of heat exchangers.
  • Guide fabricators in understanding the requirements and processes necessary for heat exchanger production.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful fabrication, including inspections and certifications.
  • This role operates on a standard Monday to Friday schedule during first shift hours.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience. Alternatively, 9 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Must meet the criteria for a U.S. Person as defined by applicable regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, brazing, and welding techniques.
  • Experience with manufacturing tooling and testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software such as Solumina.
  • Knowledge of additive manufacturing techniques.
  • Ability to utilize coding or scripting tools effectively.
