Job Summary

Quest Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and address machine breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of industrial equipment and manufacturing processes, with a focus on heat exchanger manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and optimize manufacturing workflows.
  • Characterize and validate tools, gages, and fixtures to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including operator instructions and process plans.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide real-time support to production teams to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of machining processes, including aluminum and steel.
  • Read and interpret drawing and specification requirements to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of toolmaking and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering core processes, including process planning, inspection planning, and tooling.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and its application in manufacturing processes.
