Job Summary

GO Physical Therapy LLC is seeking a skilled Medical Office Coordinator to provide exceptional front desk support for our Balance Mobility & Aquatic Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch patient care and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receptionist Support
    • Answer and direct phone calls and messages to staff members.
    • Greet patients, family members, and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
    • Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
    • Collect and verify patient demographics and billing information.
    • Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork.
    • Admit new patients in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Verify appointment details with patients prior to evaluations.
    • Assist with assigning daily patient treatment schedules.
    • Manage the waiting room and maintain a clean and organized environment.
    • Responsible for filing and document management.
    • Coordinate patient discharge processes.
  • Administrative Support
    • Gather necessary administrative information, including:
    • Processing patient payments as needed.
    • Arranging interpreter services.
    • Faxing or calling for additional scripts.
  • Confidentiality and Communication
    • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
    • Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers.
    • Respect and interact appropriately with colleagues.
    • Openly communicate with the Department Director.
    • Notify the Director of absences and maintain good attendance.
    • Exemplify a positive attitude and contribute to a positive work environment.
    • Identify and participate in problem resolution.
    • Develop positive relationships with staff members.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Perform additional job duties as assigned.
