Job Overview

Central Nebraska Rehabilitation Services is seeking a dedicated Admissions Receptionist to join our team at the Grand Island Physical Therapy clinic. This full-time role comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401k plan with company matching. The standard work schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of working until 6 PM on certain days.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing essential receptionist support within the clinic.
  • Managing incoming calls and directing messages to the appropriate personnel.
  • Welcoming patients, their families, and visitors in a friendly manner.
  • Coordinating patient appointments and ensuring the schedule is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collecting patient demographic and billing information efficiently.
  • Assisting patients in completing necessary documentation.
  • Timely admission of new patients.
  • Confirming appointment details with patients prior to evaluations.
  • Assisting in the daily scheduling of patient treatments.
  • Overseeing the waiting area to ensure a pleasant environment.
  • Handling document management and filing responsibilities.
  • Facilitating the discharge process for patients.
Administrative Duties:

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Processing patient payments as required.
  • Arranging for interpreter services when necessary.
  • Communicating with external parties for additional documentation.
Professional Conduct:

Maintaining patient confidentiality is paramount. The role requires:

  • Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Respectful interactions with all staff members.
  • Regular communication with the Department Director regarding attendance and performance.
  • Exhibiting a positive attitude and contributing to a constructive work environment.
  • Identifying challenges and engaging in problem-solving.
  • Building positive relationships with team members.
Qualifications:

  • Self-motivation and a high degree of accuracy in work.
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
