Chief Industries' Corporate Office is in search of an HR Operations Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This role encompasses a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy execution, recruitment, and compliance with employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee documentation related to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, and disciplinary measures. Ensure personnel files are maintained accurately and conduct audits of new hire documentation.
  • Manage the company's applicant tracking system and assist in developing effective recruitment strategies. Play an active role in the employee orientation process.
  • Support and/or lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of key HR programs and procedures.
  • Administer I-9 and E-Verify programs, ensuring compliance with work authorization expirations.
  • Oversee the Unemployment Compensation program in accordance with state regulations, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all claims.
  • Manage the drug screening program.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • A minimum of two years of progressive HR experience.
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related business field is preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
