Role Summary:

As a Certified Azure Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, deployment, and management of Azure Government Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions. This role requires hands-on implementation and maintenance of Azure Government Cloud environments, including the migration of workloads from on-premises to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and oversee the deployment of Azure Gov services and solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Government Cloud tenant, ensuring seamless migration of workloads.
  • Manage product and platform architectures, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines across all projects.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and design of infrastructure and cloud data center solutions, focusing on computing, networking, routing, and security.
  • Support the design of solutions in cloud and virtualized environments, with a strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Develop a comprehensive cloud strategy and oversee its implementation.
  • Manage costs associated with Azure Gov services, implementing a tagging strategy for cloud resources.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in core Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and SQL.
Technical Skills:

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Design, build, upgrade, and decommission various Windows and Linux systems, including Azure Active Directory and Azure Storage.
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Utilize knowledge of RESTful APIs, XML, and JSON in your daily tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and maintaining public/Government cloud solutions, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IP subnetting and Azure Firewall.
  • Experience in migrating applications from on-premises environments to Azure.
  • Proficient in Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM Templates.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and cloud monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of security policies and cloud security services.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
