Job Summary:

AHU Technologies Inc is in search of a certified Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer for a hybrid role. The ideal candidate must be prepared to attend on-site meetings periodically.


Detailed Responsibilities:
  • Design, architect, deploy, and oversee Azure Government IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions.
  • Implement and sustain Azure Government Cloud environments, including migrating workloads from on-premises to the cloud.
  • Ensure that all projects align with the architectural framework and strategic vision.
  • Conduct thorough analysis, design, and implementation of cloud infrastructure and data center solutions, focusing on computing, networking, routing, and security.
  • Develop and support solutions within cloud and virtualized environments, with a strong grasp of hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Effectively communicate and promote the architectural vision across various teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex projects.
  • Formulate a comprehensive cloud strategy and manage its implementation.
  • Oversee cost management for Azure Government services and establish a tagging strategy for cloud resources to support financial accountability and compliance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in core Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Identity and Access Management, DNS, and SQL.

Required Skills:
  • Experience in designing and maintaining public cloud solutions, particularly with Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Proven track record in IT administration and engineering, managing both Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Strong technical architecture skills with extensive experience in migrating applications from on-premises VMware to Azure.
  • Expertise in Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM Templates, Azure Networking, and Site-to-Site VPN.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure Security Center, and Azure Identity Management.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring tools, including Azure Log Analytics and Azure Monitor.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and automated testing.
  • Understanding of security policies and cloud security services.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation tools.
  • Proficient scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience with relational databases, particularly MS SQL.
  • Possession of Microsoft Azure Certifications.
