Position: Certified Azure Cloud Engineer

Location: Washington, District of Columbia

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

V-Soft Consulting is seeking a Certified Azure Cloud Engineer to contribute to their innovative projects in Washington, District of Columbia.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of relevant technical certifications, particularly in Microsoft Azure.
  • A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, either at the Bachelor's or Master's level.
  • A minimum of 10 years of cumulative educational and professional experience.
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
  • Experience in designing and managing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS platforms.
  • Proficient in IT administration for both Windows and Linux server environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure tools including CLI, ARM Templates, and Azure Networking.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, monitoring tools, and the implementation of DevOps best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud security services and infrastructure automation tools.

  • Architect, deploy, and oversee Azure cloud services.
  • Evaluate and implement infrastructure solutions, focusing on networking and security.
  • Design hybrid cloud architectures and develop comprehensive cloud strategies.
  • Manage costs and optimize cloud resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with vendors and support teams to resolve issues.
  • Lead technical initiatives and guide team members.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Gov Cloud services.
  • Articulate and advocate for architectural vision across various projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft technologies including Windows, Active Directory, and SQL.
  • Design and manage a variety of systems and services across Windows and Linux platforms.
