Job Responsibilities:

The Certified Azure Cloud Solutions Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, deployment, and management of Azure Government IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS services. This position requires a hands-on approach to implement and maintain Azure Government Cloud environments, including migrating workloads from on-premises to the cloud.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and managing product/platform architectures to ensure alignment with the architectural vision.
  • Conducting thorough analysis, design, and implementation of infrastructure and cloud data center solutions, encompassing computing, networking, routing, and security.
  • Designing and supporting solutions in cloud and virtualized environments, with a strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Effectively communicating and promoting the architectural vision across various teams.
  • Providing technical leadership and guiding project teams through complex challenges.
  • Developing a comprehensive cloud strategy and overseeing the adaptation process.
Required Skills:

Candidates should possess the following skills:

  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining public cloud solutions, particularly with Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
  • 3 years of experience in IT administration and/or engineering services, managing both Windows and Linux servers.
  • Strong technical architecture skills with extensive experience in migrating applications from on-premises VMware to Azure.
  • Expertise in Azure CLI PowerShell, ARM Templates, Azure Networking, and Site-to-Site VPN.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Azure DevOps configuration and management, Azure Security Center, and Azure Identity Management.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring tools such as Azure Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
  • Familiarity with implementing DevOps practices, including Infrastructure-As-Code (IAC), CI/CD, and automated testing.
  • Understanding of security policies, network security, data security, and security event management for cloud services.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash; Spark experience is preferred.
  • Experience with relational databases, particularly MS SQL.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. Microsoft Azure Certifications are required.
