Position Overview
As a key member of the Cedent Consulting team, the Senior Manager of Quantitative Insights will report directly to the Head of Credit Modeling and Strategic Analytics. This role is pivotal in steering the development of advanced Credit Loss Forecasting models and implementing robust analytical methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
1. **Model Development**: Spearhead the creation and refinement of Credit Loss Forecasting models, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
2. **Risk Validation Coordination**: Facilitate comprehensive analyses and responses to Internal Model Risk Validation processes and External Auditors, including regulatory bodies.
3. **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Work in close partnership with the Finance Management team and other essential stakeholders to prioritize and shape modeling and analytical initiatives.
4. **Advisory Role**: Provide strategic advice and recommendations to business leaders, ensuring the integration of credit loss forecasts into risk evaluations.
5. **Model Assessment**: Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative evaluations of models, focusing on theoretical frameworks, design, implementation, and data integrity.
6. **Team Leadership**: Build and mentor a high-performing team, offering professional guidance and establishing development goals to foster individual and team growth.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk modeling and analytics, particularly within the home lending sector of financial services.
- Previous experience in developing CECL models is highly advantageous.
- Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in a quantitative discipline such as finance, econometrics, mathematics, physics, or engineering is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both internally and externally, including engagement with regulatory entities.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SAS, or R for building credit loss models.
- Demonstrated experience in defining and developing analytical methodologies.
- Proven leadership capabilities, with a focus on recruiting, retaining, and advancing talent.
- Strong relationship-building skills, establishing trust and credibility across the organization and with external stakeholders.
- A commitment to integrity, sound judgment, and strategic vision.
