Position Overview
As a Senior Manager of Quantitative Insights at Cedent Consulting, you will report directly to the Head of Credit Modeling and Strategic Analytics. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

Model Development
Leading the creation and enhancement of Credit Loss Forecasting models, while supporting the application of analytical and modeling methodologies.

Regulatory Coordination
Managing analyses and responses to Internal Model Risk Validation and External Auditors, including those from regulatory bodies.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Working in close partnership with the Finance Management team and other essential stakeholders to prioritize and shape modeling and analytical initiatives.

Advisory Role
Providing strategic advice and recommendations to business leaders to uphold the highest standards of practice, particularly in integrating credit loss forecasts into risk evaluations.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk modeling and analytics, particularly in Home Lending within the financial services sector.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in developing CECL models.
- Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in a quantitative discipline such as finance, econometrics, mathematics, physics, or engineering is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both internally and externally, including interactions with regulators.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SAS, or R for building credit loss models.
- Experience in developing and defining analytical methodologies.
- Proven leadership abilities to recruit, retain, and advance talent.
- Strong relationship-building skills to establish trust and credibility across the organization and with external stakeholders.
