Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Faculty Biostatistics and Epidemiology Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing complex observational studies and clinical trials in collaboration with investigators from various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze complex observational studies and clinical trials using advanced statistical methods.
  • Collaborate with investigators from various departments to develop research protocols and study designs.
  • Lead a team of MS-level biostatisticians in supporting musculoskeletal research projects.
  • Develop and implement statistical models to analyze large datasets and identify trends and patterns.
  • Communicate research findings through publications and presentations to academic and industry audiences.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a related field.
  • Experience as a collaborative biostatistician in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical software and programming languages, including R and Python.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
