Key Responsibilities

Team Rehabilitation is in search of a personable and dynamic individual to serve as the vital first point of contact within our clinic. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy towards patient conditions and possess a willingness to assist, accommodate, and support patients in achieving success in their therapy.

Primary Duties:

  • Welcome patients warmly, verify appointments, and assist with necessary documentation.
  • Facilitate comprehensive communication with patients, healthcare providers, and staff, ensuring follow-ups are conducted as needed.
  • Manage complex scheduling while ensuring patients receive the appropriate number of visits, coordinating with therapists and staff as necessary.
  • Assist patients with inquiries regarding insurance, verify benefits, and track required authorizations.
  • Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical and billing systems, including billing updates and follow-ups for additional information.
  • Collect copayments and process transactions in a timely and professional manner, issuing receipts and managing billing tasks.
  • Input data from internal research accurately, which is crucial for assessing clinic performance.
  • Support clinic operations by preparing management reports, entering data from internal research, and maintaining clinic supplies and equipment.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies.

Additional Responsibilities: The Patient Administrative Coordinator must excel in multitasking within a fast-paced environment while managing daily reports and tasks. This role reports to the clinic director and includes any additional duties assigned by the clinic director.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a patient-focused healthcare role is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Background in customer service roles is also advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient basic computer skills are required.
