Job Responsibilities

The Patient Administrative Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients in a friendly and professional manner, verifying appointments, and assisting with necessary paperwork.
  • Maintaining effective communication with patients, physicians, and other staff members, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Managing complex schedules, coordinating with physical therapists and other staff to accommodate patient needs.
  • Assisting patients with insurance-related questions, verifying benefits, and obtaining necessary authorizations.
  • Accurately updating and maintaining electronic medical and billing records, following up on any additional information as needed.
  • Collecting copayments, processing payments, and handling billing-related tasks.
  • Supporting clinic performance by preparing management information, inputting data from in-house research, and maintaining clinic supplies and equipment.
  • Respecting patient privacy and adhering to confidentiality policies.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in patient-centered healthcare or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid basic computer skills.
  • Commitment to Team's initiative of making diversity, equity, and inclusion a priority.
