Position Overview

The role involves providing exceptional customer service while delivering administrative and clerical assistance within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction: Welcome patients and visitors, manage check-in and check-out processes, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Insurance Coordination: Verify and secure insurance authorizations and precertifications. Handle medical record release requests and manage patient appointment scheduling and confirmations.
  • Financial Transactions: Accurately enter, review, and submit charges for patient services on a daily basis. Collect co-payments and ensure all financial reports and deposits are reconciled correctly.
  • General Office Support: Provide comprehensive clerical support to the designated area as needed.
Qualifications

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, or at least one year of relevant job experience. Professional licensure or certification may substitute for education or experience where applicable.
