Position Summary
The Social Media Strategy Manager is integral to the global social media initiatives at Weil. This role is responsible for shaping the strategy, establishing protocols, and managing the execution of social media campaigns. The manager will collaborate with senior leadership and colleagues to enhance the firm’s messaging and overall impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction for social media across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter, focusing on content quality and audience engagement.
- Provide customized social media advice to partners and senior professionals, including conducting training sessions on best practices for personal branding.
- Analyze social media performance metrics to inform strategy and improve engagement.
- Contribute to the development of content for the global internal magazine and manage long-form writing projects.
- Assist in the production of the firm’s Alumni Newsletter, including overseeing video content scripting and editorial processes.
- Coordinate the dissemination of content across various Weil platforms, ensuring compliance with technical and organizational standards.
- Conduct regular audits of content governance to maintain quality and relevance.
- Lead select marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing, Alumni, and Digital Programs teams.
- Supervise the Content Strategy Specialist and manage vendor relationships as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in social media and digital marketing, preferably within professional services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proven track record in corporate communications.
- Ability to work independently, particularly in strategic planning and execution.
- Excellent networking and influencing skills within a diverse organizational structure.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of engaging with various stakeholders across the firm.
- Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Proficient in interpreting and simplifying complex legal and financial documents.
- This position requires regular presence in the office and may involve off-hours work.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field.
