As an integral member of the Global Communications team, the Senior Manager of Social Media will formulate a comprehensive social media strategy that ensures ELC's channels effectively communicate significant company updates while aligning with its core narratives and values.

This position is accountable for conceptualizing and producing captivating content across various platforms, collaborating closely with internal partners to enhance brand visibility, elevate the profiles of ELC's executives and employees, and cultivate meaningful relationships with target audiences.

This role will supervise the Coordinator of Global Communications, who manages community engagement across all platforms, including content publication, timely audience communication, and risk management.


The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of digital trends and cultural nuances, exceptional collaboration abilities, and a talent for compelling storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with the organization’s primary messages and business objectives.
  • Develop and oversee a global content calendar, working in close partnership with cross-functional teams to synchronize social media efforts with relevant campaigns, announcements, and product launches. Manage all published content across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Generate innovative, high-quality content ideas (including text, visuals, and videos) that resonate with target demographics across channels.
  • Track social media trends, tools, and analytics to uncover opportunities for innovation and growth, remaining ahead of industry developments.
  • Oversee community engagement strategies to boost interaction with key audiences and broaden reach.
  • Evaluate performance metrics and KPIs to assess the success of campaigns and refine content strategies.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
  • 7-9 years of experience in social media management, demonstrating a successful track record of executing impactful campaigns across diverse platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), their distinct features, and best practices for content optimization.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to craft engaging narratives and adjust tone to suit various audiences and channels.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience utilizing social media analytics tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, Opal, Sprinklr) to interpret data and inform data-driven decisions.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide and motivate a team, foster collaboration, and mentor emerging talent.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for innovation in digital and social media.
  • Experience in a globally matrixed multi-brand organization is preferred.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $99,400 to $163,800. Actual salary will depend on various factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with potential for overachievement based on performance and company results, as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
