As an integral member of the Global Communications team, the Senior Social Media Director will craft a forward-thinking social media blueprint that ensures ELC's platforms accurately represent significant company updates while aligning with its foundational narratives and values. This position is accountable for conceptualizing and executing captivating content across various channels and platforms, collaborating closely with internal partners to effectively enhance brand presence, elevate ELC's leadership and workforce, and cultivate meaningful interactions with key demographics.

This role will supervise the Coordinator, Global Communications, who manages community engagement across all platforms, including content publication, timely audience communication, and risk management.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of digital trends and cultural dynamics, exceptional collaboration capabilities, and a talent for compelling storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

· Formulate and execute extensive social media strategies that resonate with the company's core messages and business objectives.

· Develop and oversee a global content schedule, working in close partnership with cross-functional teams to synchronize social media activities with relevant campaigns, announcements, and product introductions. Manage all published content on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.

· Generate innovative, high-quality content concepts (including text, visuals, and videos) that engage target audiences across various channels.

· Stay abreast of social media trends, tools, and analytics to pinpoint opportunities for innovation and growth, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of industry developments.

· Direct community management strategies to enhance engagement with key audiences and broaden reach.

· Evaluate performance metrics and KPIs to assess the success of campaigns and refine content strategies.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.

· 7-9 years of experience in social media management, demonstrating a successful track record of executing impactful campaigns across diverse platforms.

· Profound knowledge of social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), their distinctive features, and best practices for content optimization.

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to create engaging narratives and adjust tone to suit various audiences and channels.

· Strong analytical abilities and experience utilizing social media analytics tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, Opal, Sprinklr) to interpret data and make informed decisions.

· Proven leadership experience, with the capacity to manage and motivate a team, encourage collaboration, and mentor emerging talent.

· Ability to excel in a dynamic environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

· An entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for innovation in digital and social media.

· Experience in a globally matrixed multi-brand organization is preferred.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $99,400 to $163,800. The exact salary is contingent upon various factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the potential for overachievement based on performance and company results, as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
