Building Automation Systems Engineer

This role is designed for a professional who will contribute to the execution of diverse projects spanning various industries, including healthcare, technology infrastructure, corporate environments, and educational institutions.
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the operational success of our department. Responsibilities will include:
- Designing advanced automation systems for substantial commercial properties, technology hubs, and academic facilities.
- Engaging in collaborative meetings to gather project requirements and updates.
- Coordinating with contractors to ensure the compatibility and feasibility of all systems and equipment.
- Working alongside fellow Design Engineers to recommend optimal specifications.
- Preparing comprehensive engineering documentation, including network diagrams, wiring schematics, control panel layouts, flow charts, and equipment schedules for client approval and handover to the installation team.
- Providing technical assistance to the sales team to enhance project proposals.
- Fostering a culture of employee engagement and teamwork.
- Ensuring compliance with all quality and safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- A degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial HVAC systems and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and Lon for system integration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio is preferred; familiarity with AutoCAD or other Building Information Modeling (BIM) software is also advantageous.
