Job Summary

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care and service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients and visitors.
  • Manage front office operations, including patient registration, scheduling, and billing.
  • Process and manage patient payments, including collecting co-pays and handling insurance claims.
  • Assist with medical records management, including filing, scanning, and retrieving patient charts.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and insurance information.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a technical specialty program preferred.
  • Basic understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding preferred.
  • Multi-specialty group practice setting experience preferred.

Work Environment

This role will be based in a fast-paced healthcare environment, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.
