Position Summary

As a Parts Customer Service Representative, you will be instrumental in enhancing Landscapers Supply's ability to assist our external service customers efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customers receive the necessary parts swiftly while providing an exceptional service experience.

Your expertise will involve identifying the correct part numbers for customers' equipment models and sourcing those parts effectively. While you will not diagnose equipment issues, you will guide customers to our service department for expert assistance.

This advanced role demands outstanding communication skills and technical knowledge to accurately locate or order the required parts. You will have the support of a Parts Specialist, who can assist with more complex inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist customers at the Parts counter
  • Identify and locate required parts using vendor resources
  • Retrieve parts from inventory or place orders for future collection
  • Process transactions at the cash register
  • Notify customers when parts are ready for pickup
  • Organize and restock the Parts counter as needed
  • Conduct inventory counts during customer service interactions
  • Manage paperwork for store transfers
  • Check in service orders when the service shop is closed
  • Assist with special requests from management or the Parts Specialist

Qualifications

  • Experience with equipment parts
  • Basic understanding of engines and components
  • Strong interpersonal skills for positive customer interactions
  • Ability to remain organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication with team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in a repair shop or parts sales

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and manage items weighing up to 70 lbs.
