We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely patient registration, pre-certification, and charge capture services.
  • Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist patients with insurance claims, benefits, and billing inquiries.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, appointments, and surgeries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve account resolution and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical specialty preferred.
  • No previous experience required; multi-specialty group practice setting experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding.

Work Environment

This is a full-time day shift position at our Greer Medical Campus.
