Position Summary

As a Parts Customer Service Representative, you will be essential in facilitating Landscapers Supply's mission to efficiently serve our external service clientele. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in obtaining the necessary parts swiftly while ensuring a positive experience.

Your expertise will be vital in identifying the correct part numbers for various equipment models and sourcing those parts effectively. While you will not diagnose equipment issues, you will guide customers to our service department for expert assistance.

This advanced role demands exceptional communication skills and technical proficiency in locating or ordering the appropriate parts. You will have the support of a Parts Specialist, whose knowledge will aid you in navigating complex situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist customers at the Parts counter
  • Identify and locate required parts using vendor resources
  • Retrieve parts from inventory or place orders for future collection
  • Process transactions at the cash register
  • Notify customers when parts are ready for pickup
  • Organize and restock the Parts counter
  • Conduct inventory checks as needed
  • Manage paperwork for store transfers
  • Assist with service order check-ins
  • Support special requests from management or the Parts Specialist

Qualifications

  • Experience with equipment parts
  • Basic understanding of engines and components
  • Strong interpersonal skills for customer interactions
  • Ability to maintain organization in a fast-paced setting
  • Effective communication with team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in a repair shop or parts sales

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and handle items weighing up to 70 lbs.
