Job Summary:
The Patient Service Representative will serve as the main point of contact for all patients and the community. This position will receive and process patient referrals, patient registration, verifying demographics, obtaining insurance cards and identification, and ensuring accurate and timely communication with patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient service and support to patients and their families
- Process patient referrals and registrations in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify patient demographics and obtain necessary documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Bon Secours Health policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
