Head of Sales and Marketing

The Senior Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for steering the strategic vision of the sales department, managing daily operations, and fostering long-term, value-driven relationships with clients to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the sales team by crafting and implementing strategic initiatives during meetings, while ensuring consistent reporting on sales performance.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, both within the organization and externally.
- Actively participate in management meetings and financial reviews to align sales strategies with business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth by guiding the sales team to secure profitable business opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to assess business needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and execute strategies for group business, including corporate retreats, wellness programs, and special events.
- Ensure that social and public events are profitable and adhere to established operational standards.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Utilize strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Work with external partners to enhance the reach and effectiveness of sales initiatives.
- Oversee pricing strategies in collaboration with revenue management to optimize guest room sales.
- Manage operational tasks related to booked business, including proposal generation and client communication.
- Analyze market data to implement strategies that meet financial objectives.
- Engage with guests to gather feedback and identify areas for service enhancement.
- Support the development and mentorship of sales team members.
- Coordinate with marketing to ensure alignment of sales and promotional strategies.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a commitment to excellence, and exceptional communication skills. Proven experience in lead generation and closing sales is essential.
